Paid Service - Periodic Inspection and Maintenance

 

What is 'Paid Service'?

 

​​Paid Service for your Maruti is done in 5000Km or every six months, which ever earlier. Paid Service is 'Periodic Inspection and Maintenance Schedule'. This service is carried out as per the systems and procedures prescribed by M/s Maruti Suzuki Ltd., through various inspection / adjustments and replacements.


Why should I periodically service my Maruti at the Maruti Authorised Dealer?

 

Your Maruti has been specifically engineered by M/s Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. The overall performance of your Maruti depends on

 certain inspection, adjustments and replacements that must be periodically and compulsory carried out. Only a Maruti Authorised

Dealer has 'Factory Trained Manpower', specialized equipment and 'Maruti Genuine Parts (MGP)', to execute and deliver 'Quality

 Service'.

Given below is the 'Periodic Inspection and Maintenance' Schedule, as prescribed by M/s Maruti Suzuki Ltd.

  1. Engine oil needs to be replaced once in 12 months or every 10000 kilometer, which ever earlier.
  2. Gear oil needs to be replaced once in 24 months or every 20000 kilometer, which ever earlier.
  3. Brake fluid needs to be replaced once in 24 months or every 20000 kilometer, which ever earlier.
  4.  Coolant needs to be replaced once in 24 months or every 20000 kilometer, which ever earlier.
  5. The air filter needs to be cleaned every 5000 kilometer and replaced very 20000 kilometer.
  6. The fuel filter needs to be replaced every 20000 kilometer.
  7. The spark plugs need to be cleaned every 5000 kilometer and replaced every 20000 kilometer.
  8. The braking system has to be cleaned every 5000km.
  9. The battery including the electrical system has to be checked every 5000km.
  10. The various drive belts have to be checked every 5000km.
  11.  Oil and coolant leakages have to be checked every 5000km.
  12.  The various suspension and steering components and fasteners have to be checked and torqued every 5000km.
  13. The tyres have to be rotated every 5000km to ensure longer tyre life.
  14. The wheel alignment and wheel balancing has to be done every 5000km or 10000km, depending on the severity of the driving conditions, to ensure longer tyre life, safe vehicle handling and safe vehicle braking.
  15. The fuel injection system has to be serviced once in every 20000 kilometers, to ensure peak performance from the Engine.
